Missing AirDrop on Windows? Try this alternative.

This app, HP QuickDrop, is basically the same functionality as AirDrop (but more consistent). The only downside is you need to install an iOS app on your phone or tablet, and the desktop app on your PC.

Once you do that, it works really well. One thing I’ve found is that you should keep your desktop application running in the foreground during file transfers to make sure it doesn’t stall or get interrupted.
