WhatsApp Desktop for Windows Voice notes not playing?

Short post! If you’ve been having difficulty with the desktop version of WhatsApp, being sluggish, or not playing voice notes, here is the solution.

The version that you’ve installed is likely the Microsoft Store version. Uninstall this version, and grab the app directly from Whatsapp. The app should run better and your voice notes will now play as normal.
